HOLLOW ROCK LANDFILL

On September 8th 2023 ETEM acquired the Hollow Rock Landfill from Energy Harbor.   The overall footprint of the landfill and surrounding parcels is 935 acres, approximately 2.5 miles west of the Sammis Plant and connected to the Plant by a conveyor system.

HRLF is a Class III Residual Waste Landfill.  The permitted disposal area is approximately 142 acres divided into 14 cells.  Cells 1-4 are full and capped with intermediate cover. Cell 5 is active. Cells 1-5 cover approximately 55 acres.

ETEM is currently analyzing opportunities to mine and beneficially reuse the gypsum stored at the site, and to further develop the permitted landfill.  There also may be opportunities for solar and battery storage.
